Implant Supported Fixed Denture – Dr. Patadiya Dental Clinic Gandhinagar
WHO MAY NEED FULL-MOUTH REHABILITATION?

Complex dental problems.
One coordinated plan.

Full-mouth rehabilitation may be considered when several teeth are missing, badly worn, heavily restored, mobile, fractured or otherwise compromised. Treatment is individualized and may combine implants, crowns, bridges, periodontal care, root canal treatment and cosmetic/restorative procedures.

01

Multiple Missing Teeth

Selected patients may benefit from implant-supported fixed teeth, bridges or other prosthetic options.

02

Failing or Heavily Restored Teeth

Teeth are evaluated individually so maintainable teeth can be preserved whenever appropriate.

03

Loose or Unstable Dentures

Implant-retained or implant-supported options may improve stability in suitable patients.

04

Worn Bite / Reduced Function

Complex wear, loss of tooth height or bite changes may require staged restorative planning.

FIXED TEETH OPTIONS

From selected implants
to full-arch rehabilitation.

Depending on the clinical situation, implants may support a single crown, a bridge, a removable overdenture or a fixed full-arch restoration.

The number, position and loading of implants depend on bone, bite, restorative space, gum condition, medical factors and the final prosthetic design. Same-day or immediate loading is only appropriate in selected cases.

PRESERVE WHAT CAN BE PRESERVED

Full-mouth rehabilitation does not automatically mean removing every tooth.

Teeth with a reasonable long-term prognosis may be treated and incorporated into the final rehabilitation. The decision to restore, monitor or remove a tooth is based on restorability, periodontal support, infection, fracture, strategic value and overall treatment goals.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Does full-mouth rehabilitation mean removing all my teeth?

No. Teeth that are maintainable may be preserved and incorporated into the final plan. The aim is to treat each tooth according to its prognosis.

Can I get fixed teeth with implants?

Yes, in suitable patients. The number and distribution of implants depend on bone, bite, restorative design and individual clinical factors.

Are implant-supported fixed teeth removable?

A fixed implant-supported prosthesis is generally not removed by the patient, unlike an implant-retained overdenture, which is removable for cleaning.

How long does full-mouth treatment take?

Timelines vary considerably depending on extractions, healing, implant integration, temporary restorations, bone procedures and final prosthetic stages.
